BAJANAULSKIY STATE NATIONAL NATURAL PARK

The technical and economic assessment of the territory expansion of the Bajanaulskiy State National Natural Park is executed by the CRS and GIS «Terra», within the limits of the project «Working out of the natural-science and technical and economic assessment of the territory expansion of the Bajanaulskiy State National Natural Park » in 2005.

The Bajanaulskiy State National Natural Park (BSNNP) has been formed in 1985 on the area of 50 688 hectares in the Bajanaulskiy district of the Pavlodar region. The central homestead is situated in settlement” Shonaj”. The BSNNP territory includes the area of basic lot about 41302,4 hectares, and 7 clustered  lots , a  total area of 9286 hectares.

Now for the preservation of the population of the Kazakhstan mountain ram — a argali, it is planned to expand the territory of the Bajanaulskiy SNNP, at the expense of the clustered  lots  joining:”Murintal”, "Zhilandybulak", "Salkyntau" and "Zheltau", which are located in the Bajanaulskiy district of the Pavlodar region , a total area of 17764,8 hectares.

On these lots, on the basis of the integrated assessment of territory, the functional zoning, subject to the  landscape features of territory, of the natural -resources potential, and of the type and intensity of the modern use, is spent.

Consequently, the zone of the preserved regime, with the subzone of the recreational use and tourism, is allocated, on each of all four lots, and also with the subzone of the restricted economical activity is allocated on each of all three lots:"Salkyntau", "Zhilandybulak",  ”Murintal”.

For the successful realization of the nature conservation problems on the attached lots, the organisation of 11 patrol areas, the borders of which are established on the natural boundaries, is provided.

On the existing lot ¹ 6 of the BSNNP, were not till now the patrol areas and cordons; it is planned to organize here 2 patrol areas and a clustered cordon. Thus, it is necessary to build 3 clustered and 4 standard cordons. On the basic lot of the Bajanaulskiy Park , the creation of a visit-centre, for the  placing of scientists, tourists and other visitors, is recommended.

The capital investments on the expansion of the Bajanaulskiy State National Natural Park include the expenses for the building of: 7 cordons with the auxiliary utility structures, a visit-centre on the central homestead, 2 check points on the entrances to the basic territories of the BSNNP. Here the lining and installation of the engineering networks, 2 mini -installations of the biological purification, the wind engines, are included.

The project provides the improvement of facilities and equipment, the increasing of the staff of the Bajanaulskiy SNNP on 23 persons, from them :1 – a marketing and tourism manager, 1 – a forester, 1- a forester’s assistant, 11 — patrol inspectors  , 6 – employees of scientific department, 2 -drivers and 1- a tractor operator.

Within the limits of the given project, the complex of actions for the protection of ecosystems, air pool, water sources, the earths and a soil cover, flora and vegetation, fauna, is offered. The specificity and the general directions of the research activity are considered.  The measure and recommendations about the researches of flora and vegetation, fauna, the monitoring efforts, are developed.

Considering the necessity of the development of the ecological tourism, on the territory of the Bajanaulskiy SNNP, the directions of the development of the ecological tourism are provided, the forms and kinds of the potential tourist activity are defined, the requirements to staff, for the ecological tourism on the SPNT are shown, a material security of the tourist routes is considered.
